Pension Office hosted an Evening Tea for the Grandparents in Sh. Funadhoo on August 29th, 2024, as part of the National Grandparents’ Day celebrations. The gathering aimed to honour grandparents and provide them with essential information on key topics in a relaxed environment.

The event featured a session by Pension Office, aimed at informing grandparents about easy access to the services of Pension Office online . Furthermore, the Ministry of Social and Family Development conducted a session on healthy ageing.

This event was a collaborative effort between Pension Office, Ministry of Social and Family Development, Local Government Authority, Maldives Institute of Local Governance, Sh. Atoll Council and Sh. Funadhoo Council, reflecting a shared commitment towards celebrating and supporting older generations.
